What this site is

jaipurmetro.org is an independent guide to the Jaipur Metro.

It is not a Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation website and has no connection to it: we do not sell tokens or smart cards, and we cannot handle complaints or refunds. Those go to the operator.

We put the Pink Line, every station, fares, operating hours, the map and a route planner in one place, so they can be read on a phone at the station. The site is paid for by advertising.

What is live and what is not

Nothing on this site is real time. We do not show train arrivals, delays or line status. For disruptions, check the operator directly.

The hours and intervals here are the published schedule: trains run daily from about 06:00 to 22:00, roughly every 10 minutes in the weekday peaks and every 12 to 15 minutes otherwise. That is the timetable, not what the line is doing today.

Where each fact comes from

Line, stations and hours: what Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation publishes.

Fares: the operator’s own fare table. Single journeys are banded by distance from ₹10 (~$0.12) to ₹30 (~$0.36); a rechargeable smart card costs about ₹100 (~$1.20) and gives roughly 10% off every trip. There are no zones.

Around the station: written by us and checked against a map.

What we cannot confirm, we do not publish. A page with fewer facts that are right beats a full one of probablys.

When we get it wrong

We correct it and we say what we corrected. If something here does not match the operator, write to [email protected] or use the contact page and we will look at it.

This site is run by GoRandom, a small team from the Basque Country in Spain. We do two things that fit together better than they sound: we travel, and we build websites. We have not been to Jaipur yet — we would rather say so than pretend. Nothing here comes from our own memories: it comes from what the operator publishes, and from checking work we can show you. Responsibility for what this site publishes sits with the person named here, not with an anonymous "we".
