About Chandpole
Chandpole (Hindi: चांदपोल) marks the point where the Pink Line reaches the edge of Jaipur’s historic walled city. It is named after the Chandpole Gate, one of the original gateways into the old town. The station opened on 3 June 2015 as the eastern end of the first elevated phase; beyond it the line dips underground towards the Pink City’s squares.
From Chandpole you step straight into the colour and bustle of Chandpole Bazaar and the lanes of artisans for which the old city is famous — including the marble-carving market of Khazane Walon Ka Rasta.
