About Badi Chaupar
Badi Chaupar (Hindi: बड़ी चौपड़) is the eastern terminus of the Jaipur Metro Pink Line and its most popular stop with visitors. This underground station opened on 23 September 2020 beneath the grand Badi Chaupar square at the centre of the historic walled city.
It is the gateway to Jaipur’s most famous sights — the Hawa Mahal, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory and the glittering Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar. For most travellers, Badi Chaupar is the place to step off the metro and into the Pink City. A ride here from Mansarovar takes about 22 minutes.
